Forget crude oil prices. I've got the real outrage for you right here--the Chicago Tribune* today is reporting that ice cream prices are rising, driven by increasing milk prices. Oh, the humanity. However will we survive this summer?
And don't anyone tell me "eat less ice cream." I can not drive to conserve gas. I'll be damned if I'm forgoing a bowl of sweet sweet vanilla.

I heard on NPR today that Pizza companies were getting a double hit. Gas prices are making delivery costs higher and cheese is now also more expensive. NPR sited thining of dairy heards by farmers several years ago when prices were lower. No cows can be brought in from Canada or Europe now so building the heards back up takes longer.
Interestingly, while Hungry Howies and Pizza hut talked with NPR about the cheese prices, Little Ceasars and Dominos which are privatly owned would not. I just hope their actually using cheese.
Don
Yesterday I read that Pizza companies are suffering because high gas prices are making delivery costs higher and then the high cost of cheese is also a problem
Interestingly, Hungry Howies and Pizza Hut confrimed that their cheese prices were going up. Domninos and Little Ceasar's had no comment. I just hope what they are putting on thier pizza is really cheese.
