Programming Note: The Race moves to 8PM EST this week, due to the Kennedy Center Honors, I think. I haven't seen the Race schedule beyond this week.
And CBS sucks, as they gave away the next locale in their commercials. But not as much as Jonathan and Kendra.

Yeah, it's tough to stay unspoiled these days. With apparently only one CBS show having a new episode next week, I saw like 15 ads during football today. The promos give away the location, and most of the tasks, as well as which teams face difficulties. Essentially, all they do is not tell us who's eliminated and whether Jonathan will use a hook or a jab.

Um, can they do that? I'm totally confused. And has anybody looked sadder than Bolo in the rain?

I'm new at this whole Amazing Race thing, so maybe I don't quite understand the way it works. Don't episodes generally end with some sort of "pit stop"? Isn't one of the teams typically "eliminated", or relieved to learn that it was a "non-elimination round"? Doesn't each episode typically "end"?
In short, what might this mean? Is this going to be some sort of killer "double round" where nobody gets a break for twice as long? And on a more practical note, if this round really does get extended without an imminent pit stop, are Lori and Bolo really going to be a full day behind (since that internet cafe won't open until 10pm the next night)?
On a more practical note, does the show air next week?

P.S. I thin Klara has talked about those cars before. They really are disturbingly common, and they really are that bad.
Larry and I were discussing this on the phone. We came up with the following possibilities:
1) Pit stop near the beginning of the next episode, with a very "short" leg next.
2) Double-length episode, meaning either one more episode of the Race than usual or one fewer leg (and four teams racing to the finish).
3) Maybe a 3-for-2 deal, where they use 3 episodes to show 2 legs.
Yeah, we completely don't understand. You've got to think that Lori and Bolo assumed Phil is coming out on the course. Or, it's non-elim and they will be at least 12 hrs behind (I think the cafe was 10-10, so they could probably make it before it closes.)
And why, oh why, did the Hungarian police not arrest Jonathan? I consider this a failing of the entire Hungarian system, and I want somebody to give Klara shit about it. :)
According to the place I get the titles, next week is a recap/clip show which is going to go back and fill in some more info from us. The next real show will be Jan. 4th.
